Russian cruise information

Russian NODC and WDC-B collect information of cruises. This database contains 32 500 cruise descriptions in total. The application allows to search the cruises database on region, country, Russian organisation and separately on reference number within the Russian NODC. Also an advanced query on period, observation type, country, Russian organization and ships is possible. The results of the search can be stored as ASCII file by the user to the local disk.

Meteorological data from Global Telecommunication System

Meteorological data received from the Global Telecommunication System can be viewed on-line. There is data from Bathy, Tesak, Buy, Synop, SHIP, Temp Climate, AirSonde. The results of search can be stored on the local disk as ASCCI or as an XML file.

Acces to Meteorological data by Uniform Dictionary of Parameters (UDP)

Uniform Dictionary of Parameters (UDP) is a key element of marine information resources integration technology, developed under the Unified System of Information on the World Ocean Condition (ESIMO, http://www.oceaninfo.ru) within the frame of the Federal Target Programme "World ocean". The UDP is designed for unified and standardized data and information interaction which is created and stored in various existing information systems in Russia, providing information compatibility during the data management cycle - accumulation, processing and distribution.

The application allows access to parameters by sphere (brief/full description), by process (phenomena's), by statistics, by single parameters (by first token) and by groups.
Also an advanced search is possible to search parameters. This includes an alphabetical search, a search in names, a search in descriptions, and an area search in the complete dictionary. The Uniform Dictionary of Parameters has a "temporary bag" function: When required parameters can be selected,and afterwards,saved as XML or ASCII file with the desired detail.
