| Marine Quality Control user manual |
MarineQC is a JAVA based software, developed internally for the processing and quality control of ADF collected marine environmental data. The application will allow the user to undertake QC of any environmental data at various levels of detail attaching flags to features, edits and/or quality of the data. This is all possible through the use of MarineXML, a standard internal data format for oceanographic data. This format enables the capturing and retention of all processing done to data by MarineQC.

This report details quality control procedures developed by oceanographers participating in the CSIRO XBT Program for processing XBT profile data. The report provides an overview of real oceanographic features, instrument errors and QC flags.
