Coriolis

Introduction

Coriolis data service provides quality-controlled in-situ data in real-time and delayed modes. Managed data sets are mainly T-S profiles and time series from profiling floats, XBT's, thermo-salinographs, drifting and moored buoys.
The service is a gateway to global ARGO data and processes floats for the European GyroScope pilot array. The centre is the in situ data provider for the Mercator data assimilation project.

The user manual

The user's manual describes the data format of:

Argo netcdf mono-profile. Contains pressure, temperature and salinity measurements from one cycle of an argo profiler.
Argo meta-data. Contains the description of an argo profiler.
Argo trajectory data. Contains all the surface locations of an argo profiler.
